Prince Virtual Communications |
The minimum amount of marketing that Prince Virtual Communications will do is the addition of meta tags to the home page and manual submission to 10 of the major search engine. Why manual submission? Submissions that are made by an automatic program are often discarded without being added to the search engine and are always processed last; we have therefore found that manual submission is the best way to ensure that our clients are listed in the search engines.
However, the key to achieving the desired level of internet visibility, traffic, and/or sales for a site is to go beyond the bare marketing minimum. Commercial sites in particular may need a more thorough and widespread approach to on-line advertising. We have a repertoire of more than 100 additional activities that can be used to bring visitors to a web site. Prince Virtual Communications can work with your staff to put together and implement a comprehensive on-line marketing strategy that is tailored specifically for your business.
Another aspect of on-line marketing to consider is the need for on-going marketing maintenance. After all, you wouldn't have an advertising push when a product was first put on the market and then never advertise it again, would you? On-line marketing maintenance can be performed on any schedule (quarterly, yearly, etc.) or on demand. The purpose of on-line marketing maintenance is to determine if previous marketing activities were effective, to determine if they are still effective, to adjust your marketing strategy accordingly, and to initiate a new on-line marketing push. This service usually includes checking the search engines to see if the site is still listed (some engines drop sites after a certain interval) and how hard it is to find, resubmitting the site where appropriate, and re-announcing the site in the appropriate internet forums (usenet, birds-of-a-feather web sites, etc.). The service also usually includes re-evaluating the original on-line marketing plan and analyzing the success of the site, then revising and either repeating, refining, or expanding the activities of the original on-line marketing plan. We recommend that clients perform on-line marketing maintenance at least once a year for all sites, and at least every four months for commercial sites.
